To promote a more cost-effective way of handling and paying for the disposal and recycling of Liquid Industrial Waste (LIW), MMA will work with the DEQ and the Legislature to eliminate unnecessary rules and consolidate the current laws and regulations governing liquid industrial waste while encouraging the proper disposal or beneficial reuse of these by-products.
