2012 Legislative & Regulatory Agenda
Manufacturing: Advancing Michigan’s Future

MMA’s Legislative & Regulatory Agenda outlines the pro-manufacturing policies necessary to help revitalize the state’s critical industrial sector and help Michigan, as a manufacturing state, return to prosperity. The links below will take you to the policy areas that MMA’s government affairs team has been working on in the 2011-2012 legislative session.

While much progress was made on the recommendations contained in MMA's Legislative & Regulatory Agenda in 2011, there remained much work to be done in the second half of the legislative session.

For an overview of the Agenda issues MMA will be actively pursuing this year, see the 2012 MMA Legislative & Regulatory Priorities document (at right).

MMA Policy Agenda

We are halfway through the 2011/2012 legislative session and, despite substantial progress on MMA’s 2011 Legislative & Regulatory Agenda, the work is not yet complete. There are a number of important issues that MMA’s advocacy team will be diligently working on this year, starting with our top priority — outlined in the 2012 Legislative & Regulatory Priorities.
