Background: Climate change is a global issue that must be addressed nationally and in conjunction with the rest of the world. Imposing significant regulatory costs on Michigan job providers through a statewide or regional approach creates a competitive disadvantage for Michigan while contributing very little to the global solution.

MMA Position: MMA will oppose any state and/or regional regulations addressing climate change that exceed federal climate change requirements.
