Cost-Benefit Analysis for New Regulations

Background: Administrative rules can impose billions of dollars in costs on Michigan citizens and job providers, negatively affecting our state’s competitiveness in the global economy.

MMA Position: MMA will fight for the requirement of a more detailed and dynamic calculation of economic cost implications for citizens and job providers and an equally detailed and dynamic analysis of the economic and/or other benefits in the required Regulatory Impact Statement for all new regulations.
