Insurance Products for Groups of 5+ Employees


Basic Life

Provides active employees with one year renewable term life insurance which can be written on a stand-alone basis or with other coverages. This is 24-hour coverage which provides a benefit to a designated beneficiary if an insured employee dies from any cause.

    • Multiple of “Basic Annual Salary” (1x, 1.5x, 2x or 3x)

    • $150,000 standard
  • Minimum benefit

    • Medically underwritten for less than 10 employees

Accidental Death or Dismemberment (AD&D)

Provides benefits for accidental death to complement basic term life insurance. New benefits offered include paralysis of one arm or one leg, brain damage and coma. As well as air bag, seat belts, child care center and common carrier benefits.

Dependent Life

Provides employees basic term life insurance for their spouse and/or children at group rates. (This coverage may only be purchased with Basic Term Life.)

    • Plan 2: $5,000 Spouse
    •            $1,000 Child

                15 days to age 19
                (25 if full-time student)

      Child's Age:
      6 months to age 19 (25 if full-time student)
      *15 days to 6 months of age

Insurance Products for Groups of 10+ Employees


Core Buy-Up Life Insurance

Provides a combination of employer-funded term life insurance and supplemental term life insurance funded by the employees. This allows employers to offer their employees access to additional life insurance without increasing their own costs.

What’s Available:

  • Core Insurance Schedules
    • Flat Amount of Coverage - $1,000 increments
    • Occupational based coverage
    • Multiple of "Basic Annual Salary" (1x, 1.5x, 2x, or 3x)
  • Buy-Up Insurance Schedules
    • Flat Amount of Coverage - $10,000 increments
  • Maximum Benefit
    • $150,000 for the Core and Buy-up combined
  • Minimum Benefit
    • $10,000 for Core
    • $10,000 for Buy-Up
  • Non-Medical Maximum
    • Employees electing Buy-Up coverage are guaranteed $10,000
