State MBT Web Site

The Michigan Department of Treasury developed a Web site to help businesses, tax professionals and others navigate the new Michigan Business Tax, which takes effect 1/1/08. The site is located at www.michigan.gov/mbt.

The site features answers to frequently asked questions and a 30-minute Web seminar, which provides an overview of the Michigan Business Tax and its provisions. Future Webinars on various topics are planned and will be available on the MBT Web site. Treasury is also working on an MBT estimator that will be linked from the site when ready.
