The “Legislator/Manufacturing Advocate of the Year” award is MMA’s highest public policy honor presented to a state policymaker who has provided essential leadership in regard to manufacturing issues over his or her career. The “Advocate of the Year” awards are presented to state senators and representatives who have shown important and ongoing support for the manufacturing industry.

The MMA 2008 House and Senate Advocates of the Year were recognized at the annual Legislative & Executive Reception held May 12 in Lansing.
