Awards Programs |
Each year, MMA honors legislators and manufacturers who have worked to make Michigan a better place to do business with the John G. Thodis Michigan Manufacturer of the Year Award and the Legislator and Advocate of the Year Award programs.
The John G. Thodis Michigan Manufacturer of the Year Award program is dedicated to publicly honoring individuals involved in manufacturing who make a positive impact on the industry and their communities. The awards program seeks to recognize Michigan manufacturers’ exemplary contributions. The awardees will be recognized on Tuesday of Michigan Manufacturing Week at the MMA CEO Forum luncheon. Annually, MMA bestows its Legislator Advocate of the Year Awards to Michigan policymakers who have supported the manufacturing industry. The MMA Government Affairs Advisory Committee chooses recipients who are presented their awards during the MMA Legislative & Executive Reception on 5/11/10 at the Country Club of Lansing. |
Who are members of the Michigan Manufacturers Association?MMA’s membership is made up of companies, ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to small, family-owned shops, rather than individuals. Nearly 3,000 companies across the state currently take advantage of the Association’s many services.
