Jean Eggemeyer was named vice president of marketing and communications for the Michigan Manufacturers Association in 2002 and directs the organization’s member communications and media and public relations functional areas. She also serves as editor of Enterprise magazine, MMA’s bi monthly member publication, and manages the John G. Thodis Michigan Manufacturer of the Year Award program and the annual Michigan Manufacturing Week commemorations.

Prior to joining MMA in 1999 as director of communications, Eggemeyer had served as design manager for the Lansing-based Michigan Retailers Association and as a graphic designer for Tri-State Hospital Supply Corporation in Howell, Michigan.

Eggemeyer holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Michigan State University, where she completed honors level writing course work, and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan-Flint. She is active in several community organizations, is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and serves as an officer on the Friends of Kresge Art Museum board of directors.
